This strong and sturdy ex pilot vessel needs an enthusiastic project manager to carry on with all the good work done over the last few years (over £30k spent). Much of the work has already been carried out. i.e. the hull planking and frames have been repaired and replaced where necessary by a professional shipwright (this would need caulking before relaunch). The decks have been completely renewed with double 12mm ply that's been epoxy sheathed. Internally she has been completely cleared out and is ready as a blank canvas to design and build your own accommodation layout. If you wou... read more

The build quality of this Malo 36 speaks for itself. This Swedish crafted sailing cruiser is more than capable of handling the Northern seas and further afield in safety, comfort and style. Pleasing to the eye, she feels and looks bigger than her 36 foot. The side decks are wide, easy to move around and the teak finish is kind and warm underfoot. The deep, spacious cockpit with solid spray screen feels safe and offers protection from the elements. The position of the main sheet traveller keeps the cockpit uncluttered, whilst the large chart plotter/radar display is easily visible from t... read more

The Carter 33 has a good reputation for seakeeping, speed and comfort. It was one of Dick Carter’s most popular designs and over 200 were built. This example has been well maintained and much improved by the current owners. They have carried out plenty of regular sailing and the only reason for selling is to upsize for adventures further afield. New standing rigging was fitted in 2015, new running rigging in 2017 and the modern Beta engine was refurbished in 2019. The lines lead aft to the cockpit to facilitate single and short handed sailing. The side decks are nice and wide and ... read more

We're looking for a new owner for this beautifully restored, traditional wooden sailing boat. The present owner of this lovely little yacht has many years of experience and knowledge of working with historical, wooden sailing craft of all sizes. This shows clearly in his attention to detail. Purchased in 2009 as a retirement project, he has applied these skills tirelessly over the last 7 years to repair, restore and bring this vessel up to a very high standard indeed. She has been completely stripped out, has new decks, new beams, a new mast, the cabin & decks have all been fresh... read more

This tough little angling cruiser has recently, during the summer of 2019, undergone a major overhaul on the engine, hull, navigation equipment, electrics and accommodation. There is plenty of room in the cockpit for fishing, diving or other water sports toys and the helm is well protected from the elements. The new 2019 Sonar Phone / Tbox & Navionics package (£435 approx) provides real-time information for general navigation and includes charts of the UK & Holland, depth & fish finding info, weather & tides and incorporates AIS. In addition to this, as backup, there is a Garmin GPS... read more

A strong and well built British Yacht that has a good reputation. Known to be capable, easy to sail and seaworthy, the Moody 29's are proven to be a good all rounder for either single handed sailing or full family cruising. They are remarkably spacious for their length with a good sized cockpit and well thought out accommodation layout down below. The accommodation on this example is clean & tidy. The huge dual size saloon table folds neatly away against the forward bulkhead whilst the saloon berths pull out to give generously sized sleeping areas. The heads compartment has a door either si... read more

This Trapper 700, a strongly built, sea kindly cruiser-racer, is the more popular lifting centre board version. Although the fixed iron fin keel is deep and heavy enough to allow her to sail well on all points of sail, the handy pivoting centre board offers better performance to windward and can be stowed to allow access to shallower areas. Beamy with lots of space and integrated storage, it is light and airy below and there is good headroom throughout. All the berths are over 6ft in length, there’s a separate heads compartment, a good sized forward facing nav station and the fridge is ... read more

This popular Jeanneau cruiser was designed with long distance cruising in mind. Equally at home on the open sea or in coastal waters, these strongly built yachts are known to be swift, seaworthy and good passage makers. They proved themselves in 1981 when they performed particularly well in the TWOSTAR, two handed Trans Atlantic Race. Beamy and well laid out, these 40 footers have acres of space both below and above deck. With the main sheet traveller situated across the coachroof, the large cockpit is uncluttered and has plenty of room for family or friends. The deck with non slip pa... read more

Who fancies owning and bringing a classic, well proven and pretty little racer cruiser back to her former glory? When Jeremy Rogers and David Sadler got their heads together and organised the building of the GRP Contessa 26, they produced a classic small racer/cruiser capable of sailing inshore, offshore or across the oceans and around the globe. Although this example has sat safely on a yard unused for a considerable time and is in need of some t.l.c. and updating to get her back on the water, there is a pretty good package here for a budding enthusiast. This vessel had a refit bac... read more
