Nelson 42, a serious work vessel. Robustly built GRP by Halmatic of Havant in 1973/4 commissioned by Trinity House. She worked for the Liverpool Pilotage.
Sold out of service in 1985.
Present owner carried out a complete refit on her Osmosis treatment and re-engined her on his purchase of her in 1988.
She was chartered out to Bure Marine, Gt Yarmouth, work boat coded, compliant with the code of practise 2012 ( now laspsed 2017 ) Licensed to carry up to 12 passengers. She was used to send supplies and men out to the Gas Fields. Since then she's been used as a private pleasure vessel on the Thames.
A very safe, reliable, fast vessel with a practical fit out.
Presently stood out of the water. Refitted April/ May 2019.
Works included: Replacing anodes, re-antifouling ,Refurbishing topsides and deck and superstructure where necessary.
