60 x 12ft 6 widebeam
Moored in Shepperton
We have a new 60 x 12ft6 widebeam just arrived under brokerage with us. The current owner purchased this boat brand new in May 2020 as a factory lined sailaway and has completed the fitout. His circumstances have changed and it is now up for sale. It has never been used, everything is brand new. It only went in the water on the 9th July 2020. This means there is a manufacturer’s warranty remaining on the boat itself, all the systems and electrics until May 2021 (anything fitted at the factory).
This boat is a reverse layout cruiser stern widebeam with tiller steering. She is fitted with a canaline 52 engine (11 hours on the clock – transport from Reading to here). This engine is under warranty for 3 years. There is a PRM gear box and there are 2 alternators fitted on the engine, including 170ah leisure battery alternator. There are 3 x 110ah leisure batteries, with scope to increase. A Vetus 95kgf bow thruster is included to assist with mooring.
She is painted in shades of grey with a white coachline. The deck, gunwhales and roof are all painted with non-slip paint. The hull is painted in 2 pack, and the inside of the hull is painted with bitumen. Under the floor there is concrete block ballast. The boat is fitted with an automatic bilge pump. There is a large gas locker on the stern deck, which can take 2 x 13k gas bottles.
Steel double doors and a sliding hatch lead to steps down to the open plan galley and living area. The steps, which have access to the 2.5kva Sterling inverter charger. The galley is fitted with a grey shaker style kitchen with woodblock worksurface and white metro tiles. A stainless steel delonghi gas range cooker has been installed. It has 2 ovens and 5 burners on the hob. The owner has put in an integrated fridge and freezer, and there is a washing machine under the breakfast bar. There is plenty of storage and a single bowl sink. Above the breakfast bar there is an opening side hatch.
The flooring is a grey bamboo floor and the cabin sides and bulkheads have been stained and painted to create a light and spacious feel. The living area has a log burner fitted, with log store below. There are greys radiators in the living area and bedroom and a chrome towel rail in the bathroom (the heating is from a diesel powered Webasto 5.1 hydronic system). There are large windows providing lots of light (these are caldwell windows).
From the very spacious living area there is a corridor leading to the bathroom and bedroom. A frosted glass privacy door opens into the bathroom. This has been fitted out with a large shower, sink in a vanity unit, cassette toilet and extra storage. There is a porthole giving plenty of light and the rooms bright, clean and spacious. Access for removing the cassette is through a hatch in the wardrobes in the bedroom.
From the corridor there is another door in to the bedroom. This has been fitted with wardrobes along the bulkhead to the bathroom. There is a king size bed and plenty of space to add more furniture.
There are double, glazed hardwood doors leading to the bow deck. Here there is space for a table and a couple of chairs, access to the bow thruster and an anchor locker.
This boat is ready to go on the Thames with no transport or craning costs if you are going in to London or up the Thames and potentially on to the Kennet and Avon. We can assist with a skipper if needed, or arranging road transport if going further afield.
There is no mooring with this boat.
