Description

This Dutch ‘Klipper’ barge was built in the early 1900s in the Netherlands as a sailing barge. She is 29.6 metres x 5.1 metres and has now been converted into a comfortable and contemporary living space.
The vessel, comprising 1,314 sq ft, is moored just off Battersea Square at Albion Quay. She enjoys excellent living and entertaining space, as well as a sun-deck for entertaining with views towards Fulham and Chelsea Creek.

The accommodation includes a spacious and extremely light open plan kitchen, a dining and living area and a separate sitting room/TV room. There are also three double bedrooms -one with twin bunk beds - and an en suite bathroom leading off the principal bedroom. There's a separate shower-room and w/c. In addition, in the bow, there is a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as a diesel-fuelled boiler for the ‘Nest’ heating and hot water.

The boat has recently been refurbished to create an extremely comfortable and convenient home with excellent storage and all creature comforts.

Battersea has many riverside walks and plenty of cycle routes. The beautiful 200 acre Battersea Park is a short walk away, with plentiful recreational opportunities. The charming Battersea Square nearby includes small businesses, restaurants, bars, cafés and fine dining at Gordon Ramsay's ‘London House’. The National Rail service from Clapham Junction takes you directly to Victoria and Waterloo in a short amount of time. There are regular bus services in all directions and it's a short stroll to the Thames Clipper boat service.
