‘Hull is resisting the signs of age well’ - quote from survey.
The main reasons I bought this boat was because of the great hull condition, the smooth running engine and the very large 800L water tank.
The recent surveys allow fully comp insurance.
-Solid oak parquet flooring. (expensive!)
-Solid oak kitchen worktop.
-Multifunctional layout as shown in photos. You can get lots of people around the table for food and drinks or have a more comfortable L shaped sofa when sitting by the fire.
-High gunnels/deep hull, allowing the broadest area of the boat create a more spacious feel internally.
-Currently moored in Hackney, London.
-a 13kg gas canister costs approx £33 and lasted me 8-10 months
-The gas canisters supply gas to the Morco instant water heater/boiler and the 4 hob oven with grill via copper gas pipes. There is also a bubble tester. The Morco supplies hot water to the shower, the kitchen sink and the bathroom sink with ease. All gas appliances passed all the safety inspections and has a Boat Safety Certificate (BSC) from Sept 2018 (lasts 4 years).
-The Lister SR2 engine runs smoothly and ticks over very comfortably. Before I drove this boat from Cambridge to London last year (Sept 2018) I made sure I got the engine serviced by an RCR mechanic. All fuel filters and oil filters were renewed and the engine oil was replaced with fresh oil by the mechanic. As maintenance, I just got the engine serviced again at Stonebridge lock by Keith Duffy (Sept 2019) to ensure the engine keeps running smoothly. The engine has been serviced every year.
-Internal bilge repainted Sept 2019.
-Perfect hot shower with good water pressure.
-Thetford cassette toilet with electronic flush.
-Double bedroom located at bow. Double bed with plenty of storage underneath. Also a wardrobe to hang clothes.
Any questions don’t hesitate to ask :-) Plenty room for an individual or a couple. Sad to be selling but moving onto new things with partner.
I’m more than happy to introduce the prospective owner to the charms of this boat - including the basics of driving and mooring up if a beginner.
