Originally built in 1930 as a bulb carrier, with a quarter inch (6mm) steel hull, this dutch barge now has a full steel superstructure and aft wheelhouse. She was surveyed approximatley 5 years ago and all recommendations were carried out. The interior is very 'open plan' and there is scope for improvement. Power is by way of a Perkins 4.108 4 cylinder diesel.
The craft is located on a residential mooring in the heart of Brentford, which is the subject of a major redevelopment scheme. |

60ft Replica Dutch Barge built by Branson Boats/South Holland Marine. This vessel has been refitted for the current owner by Will Tricket Boatbuilders using 'antique' French Oak and is being offered for sale in London with a 5 year renewable leasehold cruising mooring. Fixed double in aft cabin. The wheelhouse has a fully collapsible front and sides with lightweight canvas roof. Central steering position. The bathroom has a fully tiled rear and sides with large step in shower unit. Pump out toilet. Modern stone type basin. The galley is primarily 'L' shaped with inset one and a half bowl stainless steel sink and drainer unit. Ikea Whirlpool 4 burner stainless steel hob with New World stainless steel grill and oven below. The saloon is designed to take freestanding furniture and the forward part of the saloon comprises upholstered seating running around the fore part of the vesel. The seating is large enough to be used as a single berth if required. |
